CentreMove has started processing its first live, sale-agreed property transactions through its platform.

The company said its first transactions were moving towards completion within weeks, compared with an industry timeframe of four to six months.

The launch followed several months of internal testing and external trials with estate agents and solicitors.

Gordon Sewell (pictured, left), co-founder and chief executive of CentreMove, said: “We’ve spent months quietly proving this would work before we said a word about it publicly.

“Now it’s live, it’s real, and it’s fast. Honestly, this is the best week CentreMove has ever had.”

Jennifer Sewell (pictured, centre), co-founder and chief operating officer of CentreMove, said: “The energy coming out of PropTech Connect has been incredible, and now we get to follow it up with the only thing that really matters: results. Weeks, not months, and we can prove it.”

Wayne Quinn (pictured, right), co-founder and chief financial officer of CentreMove, said: “Watching the first transactions move through the platform in real time, at the speed we always believed was possible, is the moment every number on a spreadsheet finally becomes real.

“This is proof, not a projection.”
