FCS Compliance is set to host a free webinar for property professionals covering recent changes to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and HMRC guidance.
The hour-long session, titled ‘Ask the Experts: Money Laundering Regulation Changes & HMRC Guidance’, will take place at 1pm on Wednesday 23rd September.
The webinar follows an earlier session held during the summer focused on updates to the Money Laundering Regulations (MLRs) and HMRC guidance.
The upcoming event will be led by questions from attendees and hosted by Stephen Williamson, lead AML consultant at FCS Compliance, alongside senior AML consultant Jen Siwicki.
Williamson said: “The changes to the Money Laundering Regulations, together with HMRC’s updated guidance, represent one of the most significant periods of change to the AML framework affecting the property sector in recent years.
“Our last webinar generated a considerable number of follow-up questions from property professionals, particularly around how the changes should be applied in practice.
“This webinar is an opportunity for people to put those questions directly to us.
“We want to help translate the Regulations and HMRC guidance into practical, workable steps for property businesses, in what can often feel like a complex and nuanced area of compliance.”
