LHV Bank expands Leeds presence with move to larger office
The bank said the relocation represents it's long-term commitment to Leeds, with the new office space chosen for its proximity to leading technical talent.

LHV Bank has moved into new, larger premises at Wellington Place in Leeds, a district increasingly known as the ‘Northern Square Mile.’
The bank said the relocation represents it’s long-term commitment to Leeds, with the new office space chosen for its proximity to leading technical talent and its support for the bank’s digital-first, technology-led growth.
Wellington Place is also home to Lloyd’s Banking Group, Rathbones and Equifax, further underlining the district’s status as a base for major financial services players.
In addition to its Leeds location, LHV Bank also has offices in the City of London and Manchester.
Kris Brewster, interim CEO at LHV Bank, said: “Leeds is fast emerging as one of the UK’s most exciting growth cities, combining genuine innovation, large scale regeneration and a thriving, research-led economy with access to the technical talent that underpins our digital-first proposition and the ambition that we’re looking for.
“Choosing to expand here rather than move elsewhere was an easy decision.
“The ongoing transformation of the city centre makes it an increasingly attractive place to work, and the long-term growth story of West Yorkshire as a key FinTech hub, is exactly the kind of foundation we want to build on.
“These new premises reflect our belief in Leeds and our commitment to investing in the region as we continue to grow.”
Chris Sills, asset management director at Federated Hermes, the Asset Manager of Wellington Place, said:“LHV’s decision to base its Leeds expansion at Wellington Place is a clear testament to the strength and appeal of Wellington Place as a leading business destination.
“The FinTech bank’s move builds on the strong momentum we’re seeing from financial, legal and professional service businesses that call Wellington Place home.
“They have not only recognised the strength of Wellington Place’s offer, but also our position at the beating heart of an important business district known as Leeds’ ‘Northern Square Mile’.
“Additionally, 12 Wellington Place is widely regarded as one of the UK’s most sustainable office developments, reflecting the growing demand for high-quality, future-focused workspace.”
