Homebuyer by One Utility Bill allows estate agents to support buyers after completion and earn commission from completed sales.
One Utility Bill has launched Homebuyer by One Utility Bill, a platform that allows estate agents to support buyers after completion and earn commission from completed sales.
The platform initially launched through an integration with Street.co.uk.
Agents can refer buyers through their existing customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Buyers receive information about their new property, including its energy performance certificate (EPC) rating, current suppliers and utility costs.
They can also get support with setting up energy, broadband, TV and water services before moving in.
Agents will receive a £30 commission for each completed sale referred through the platform.
Buyers can access the property and utility information whether or not they take out a One Utility Bill package.
Shay Jones (pictured), director of growth and sales at One Utility Bill, said: “We already have a strong track record of helping letting agents streamline move-ins through our Notify platform, and we wanted to expand that same level of service to estate agents.
“Buying a new home is an exciting time, but getting a new property ready can quickly become stressful.
“We created Homebuyer to bring our utility solutions to the sales market, giving agents a simple, zero-admin way to support their buyers beyond completion as well as introduce them to a new referral model that can help them generate additional revenue from their existing sales pipelines.”
