Pepper Money appoints regional development manager for Scotland

Michael Walsh will work with intermediaries across Scotland to provide access to specialist lending for customers who do not meet high street lending criteria.

Pepper Money has appointed Michael Walsh (pictured) as regional development manager for Scotland ahead of the launch of its first charge mortgage range in the region in September.

Walsh will work with intermediaries across Scotland to provide access to specialist lending for customers who do not meet high street lending criteria.

He joins with more than 25 years of experience in the intermediary mortgage market.

Walsh previously spent more than six years as a business development manager at OSB Group, supporting brokers across residential, buy-to-let and bridging finance for Precise Mortgages and Kent Reliance.

He also held business development manager roles at Santander for Intermediaries and BM Solutions, as well as positions at St James’s Place Bank and Intelligent Finance.

Walsh said: “I’m delighted to be joining Pepper Money at such an exciting time for the business. 

“Pepper has built a strong reputation for helping customers whose circumstances don’t always fit the mould of mainstream lending, and I believe that proposition will resonate strongly with brokers across Scotland.
