Richard Frudd said: “I am grateful for the opportunity to lead the Hub into its next chapter following the brilliant work of Paul and Dan to get it established and thriving."

The Association for Rental Living (ARL) has appointed Richard Frudd (pictured) as chair of its North East and Yorkshire hub.
Frudd will work alongside Dan Asquith of BRE, who will remain vice chair.
The hub will focus on local advocacy, government engagement and raising awareness of build-to-rent housing in the region.
Frudd is a senior planning director at Quod and has more than 25 years of experience working on residential, commercial and strategic developments.
Frudd said: “I am grateful for the opportunity to lead the Hub into its next chapter following the brilliant work of Paul and Dan to get it established and thriving.
“We look forward to engaging with our peers across the public and private sectors to contribute to the ongoing success and growth of rental living in the region.”
Brendan Geraghty, chief executive officer of the ARL, said: “We are delighted that Richard will lead the next phase of the Hub’s valuable work, with education, networking and events all contributing to the success and growth of the residential living sector in the North East and Yorkshire.
“The Association for Rental Living would also like to thank outgoing Chair Paul Beattie of Glide for his extensive work in founding the Hub back in 2024, which came at a key moment for Build to Rent schemes in the region.”
