Air Appoints business development consultant to lead new proposition plans

Air, the platform for later life lending professionals, has appointed Nicola Palmer (pictured) as senior business development consultant to push forward its recently refreshed proposition.

Palmer has worked in financial services for almost three decades and brings with her a wealth of experience gained in both business development and adviser roles.

Most recently, Palmer was a key account manager at Canada Life, in this role she was awarded Best BDM at the 2022 Equity Release Awards.

In her new role, Palmer will engage with potential and existing partner firms as well as advisers as they look at how they use the range of Air products including Air Club, Air Sourcing and Air Academy to build and increase their business levels as well as income.

Palmer said: “I am thrilled to be joining Air at such an interesting time for the business. Air recently relaunched its proposition at the National Later Life Conference as well as revamped its adviser CPD training programme via Air Academy.

“There are lots more exciting developments happening behind the scenes at Air and I can’t wait to get out there and discuss these propositions with new and existing contacts.”

Jon Tweed, distribution director at Air, added: “Nicola is a great addition to the team and I am looking forward to working closely with her.

“Air is committed to supporting all brokers and lenders operating in the later life lending sector, no matter how large or small and Nicola will be an integral part of strengthening and deepening our relationships with both new and existing contacts moving forward.”
