Former Accountscore CEO Emma Steeley (pictured) is set to replace Brian Brodie as CEO of the digital lending marketplace Freedom Finance.
Steeley was CEO of open banking fintech startup Accountscore from 2018 until its acquisition by Equifax in 2021.
She has over 16 years of working in senior roles in the consumer finance and fintech sector.
Brodie, who has been CEO of Freedom Finance since 2016, will now become chairman of the business.
Pollen Street Capital recently made a significant investment in Freedom Finance to continue to develop the business’ embedded marketplace offering.
Freedom Finance currently has partnerships with over 100 companies matching consumers with credit, mortgages and other financial products.
Its embedded marketplace is being used by brands such as Argos, Asda, The Co-Op Bank, RAC, Very Group and others.
Steeley said: “I am eager to build on Brian’s hard work and unlock Freedom Finance’s huge potential with his continued support.”
