Mint Property Finance launches Power Products Loan of The Year Awards

Mint Property Finance has launched a new awards scheme designed to champion the very best property projects funded by the privately owned business.

Launching this week, the specialist lender’s Power Products Loan of the Year Awards, aim to recognise the impressive work of borrowers from the last 12 months, be it sympathetic refurbishment projects, notable HMO conversions or extraordinary ground-up developments.

There are six categories in total, categorised by Mint’s range of market-leading Power Products – Standard Bridge; High Value Bridge; Scotland Bridge; Light Works; Medium Works, and Heavy Works; with entries judged by a panel of Mint Property Finance experts.  

Nominations for each will be unveiled on a monthly basis with the first – projects funded by Mint Property Finance’s Standard Bridging loan – revealed today.  Shortlisted developments include: 

  • Clarke Road, Norwich, £873,000, 12 months, LTV 75%
  • Geldeston Road, London, £262,500, 12 months, LTV 70%
  • Belgravia, London, £1,335,000, 6 months, LTV 64%

All nominees are selected by Mint Property Finance’s accomplished panel of judges including Jon Buckley (credit risk manager – bridging ), Peter Howarth (credit risk manager – development), Richard Showman (head of lending), Sam Herd (underwriting team leader – development) and Adam Robson (underwriting team leader – bridging).

The awards will conclude in December with a celebratory dinner where winners will be announced from each category.

Details of the event ceremony, which will see Mint Property Finance’s partners from the professional introducer, solicitor, asset manager and monitoring surveyor community join Borrowers and representatives from the privately owned lender for a night of collective celebration and networking, will be announced in the coming months.
