From today (22nd August) the Standard Variable Rates (SVRs) for NatWest’s residential and buy-to-let mortgages have increased.
The banking heavyweight said it had made the move in response to the increase in the Bank of England’s Base Rate.
As such the the SVR for all new residential and buy-to-let mortgage deals will be 4.99%.
Customers who have currently applied for, or are on a fixed rate deal, will move on to the new SVR at the end of their current product term.
