Bank of England delays publication of mortgage lending data

The Bank of England (BoE) has delayed the publication of its monthly bank and building society mortgage lending data until September 30th, due to a bank holiday now being in place for Queen Elizabeth’s state funeral on September 19th.

The Bank said it would give lenders an extra day to submit data, and that release dates from October would remain the same.

The BoE has also delayed the release of its interest rate decision until next week as the country mourns the passing of the Queen.
