Mark Harrison launches new bridging and development finance lender

Mark Harrison has launched Breeze Capital, a new bridging and development finance lender.

Last month Harrison left his role as director of business development at Stretton Capital after almost four and a half years in post.

Prior to his time at Stretton Capital, he held senior roles at Bank of Scotland, Mortgages PLC and GE Capital.

The new lender will be based in Chester and will provide a full spectrum of short-term lending products, from light and heavy bridging loans to ground-up development finance.

The business is being supported by a HNW family in addition to institutional funding lines, more of which will be sought as the business grows.

Harrison said: “I’m very fortunate that my co-founders financial strength and unwavering support makes our proposition extremely compelling and when you combine that with my experience and that of my yet-to-be-announced colleagues, it provides all of the ingredients for a successful lender.

“This last two years or so have changed my outlook on life, particularly my working life and it’s hugely important that my colleagues and I enjoy what we do.

“A vibrant working environment, speedy, fuss free lending with no drama and the opportunity to grow a substantial lending business is something most people in this industry would aspire to and I am delighted to have this opportunity.”

Further senior hires are expected to be announced shortly.
