Specialist property lender, Catalyst, has appointed Ciaran Courtney (pictured) as a new intermediary relationship manager.
Prior to joining Catalyst, Courtney has worked in mortgage finance for 25+ years, starting his career at Nat West before working with Bank of Ireland as a mortgage adviser, Mortgage Intelligence as a BDM, and a number of established brokerages, including NexMoney.
He now joins Catalyst’s new business team reporting to sales director, James Farge.
Farge said: “Ciaran stood out from other candidates due to his exceptional market experience.
“Having worked both as a lender and a broker, he truly understands what intermediaries are looking for in terms of product and support.
“He is well connected in the industry and will hit the ground running.
“I know he will help take the team from strength to strength.”
Courtney added: “I was ready for a new challenge and wanted a new role that allowed me to utilise my previous experience in a fresh way.
“I was attracted to Catalyst as they take an innovative approached to lending.

“I’m looking forward to getting to know the team better and building my broker relationships.”
