Accord Mortgages has marked a significant milestone for its welcome box initiative by surprising six brokers across the country who have benefited from the scheme with a special box of their own.
The intermediary-only lender has now sent 100,000 welcome boxes to home movers on behalf of brokers to help strengthen relationships between advisers and their clients.
The welcome box, which is filled with a range of gifts appropriate to new homeowners, is provided by Accord, complimentary and unbranded as a gift direct from the broker to any client who buys a new home.
Jeremy Duncombe, managing director of Accord Mortgages, said: “This is a really significant milestone for the scheme and we’re really proud it continues to be warmly received by brokers and their clients as our way of saying thank you to the broker for placing business with us.
“The welcome boxes are just one example of how we’re committed to supporting brokers to build and maintain relationships with their clients and we look forward to surprising more new homeowners in the future.”
Accord has randomly chosen six brokers whose clients have had a welcome box this year – representing every year the initiative has been running – to receive their own box of goods to celebrate the milestone.
Clare at Mortgage Advice Solutions in Glasgow was one broker to benefit from the celebration.
Clare said: “It was a great surprise to receive our own box, and a good reminder of how clients feel when they get the boxes they think we’ve sent.
“It’s a really nice touch from Accord on all fronts.”
