Mast achieves ISO 27001 Certification

Mortgage origination technology firm Mast has been ISO 27001 certified.

The firm said the certification demonstrates its ongoing commitment to information security, for its customers, employee and governance data, and gives certainty of its data security practices to its clients and customers.

To obtain the ISO 27001 certification, Mast conducted a rigorous evaluation of its company’s data management, technology usage, processes, and risk management measures, hardening its security in the process to ensure compliance with the standard, as well as putting in place measures to continuously monitor and improve its information security.

ISO 27001 certification shows an organisation’s commitment to protecting their critical data assets and complying with applicable laws and regulations and is the only auditable standard that deals with the overall and ongoing management of information security.

Henry Stanley (pictured centre), chief technology officer at Mast, said: “Achieving ISO 27001 certification is a testament to our dedication to ensuring the highest levels of security and data protection for our customers.

“This achievement underscores our commitment to continual improvement and best practices in information security, and we will continue to prioritise this aspect of our work in the future.”
