Ken McKeating appointed as managing director of Premier Asset Finance

Premier Asset Finance has announced the appointment of Ken McKeating (pictured) as its new managing director.

McKeating, formerly the sales director for SME lending at Paragon Bank, brings over 30 years of experience in the finance sector to his new role.

McKeating’s extensive career includes senior roles such as director at Bank of Scotland and joint managing director of Dash Commercial Finance, where he served from 2010 to 2017. In October 2017, he joined Paragon Bank as the sales director for the SME Lending division, where he spent the last three years.

Premier Asset Finance was co-founded by Kevin Davidson in 2008 after working for over 20 years at the Bank of Scotland.

The company has since grown to become one of the UK’s top asset finance providers, arranging over £1bn in funding across 15,000 agreements. Davidson recently retired after a 40-year career in the industry.

In 2016, Premier Asset Finance was acquired by FTSE250 specialist Paragon Bank, under whose ownership the company has continued to thrive.

McKeating said: “I am delighted to be joining Premier Asset Finance and building on the good work of Kevin and the team. I’m very much looking forward to being part of Premier’s future and working with the team to further develop the huge potential of the business.”

With McKeating at the helm, Premier Asset Finance is poised for continued growth and success in the asset finance industry.
