Just Mortgages, a national brokerage, has appointed Andy Cuthbert (pictured) to the role of sales manager for the Midlands in order to support the continued growth of its self-employed division.
In his new position, Cuthbert will work closely with 30 self-employed advisers across the region, helping them achieve full competence, with potential for more advisers as the division expands.
In addition to offering guidance and support, Cuthbert will help advisers enhance their skills and explore opportunities to grow their businesses. He will also work closely with them to provide compliance support.
With 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Cuthbert’s career began in 1993 as an adviser for Black Horse agencies, followed by roles at an independent estate agency, Spicerhaart, and Just Mortgages.
Cuthbert said: “I am really excited to be back at Just Mortgages and working within such an impressive part of the business. It’s great to be able to use my experience and work closely with Just Mortgages’ ambitious advisers to provide the support they need to reach their full potential.”
Carl Parker, national director at Just Mortgages, added: “It’s great to welcome Andy back to the team, who will be a valuable resource to advisers in the region.”
This new hire is part of ambitious plans to expand the division to over 1,000 advisers. Earlier this year, Just Mortgages appointed five new regional directors to provide the necessary structure for future growth.
With increasing interest in becoming self-employed, the division is expected to reach 500 advisers later this year.
