Landmark Information Group launches digital hubs to streamline home-moving market

Landmark Information Group announced the introduction of LandmarkConnect, a series of digital hubs designed to bring connectivity and efficiency to the home-moving market.

The UK prop-tech firm aims to leverage its industry-leading data sharing systems to address the current lack of connection, which has been causing delays and inefficiencies in the homebuying process.

The average time to buy a home in England and Wales is 133 days, marked by stress and uncertainty for consumers and duplication of efforts for industry professionals.

LandmarkConnect’s open, accessible, and standardised hubs will allow stakeholders to access trusted data, documents, and progress information in near-real time, enhancing communication and coordination between all parties involved.

LandmarkConnect builds upon the success of Landmark’s Secure Panel Network, which is already used by the mortgage industry to communicate millions of transaction messages between lenders and surveyors.

“The latest network release, based on the LandmarkConnect platform, supports rich document exchange among multiple parties and is set to enter full service this summer.

Simon Brown, CEO of Landmark Information Group, said: “We want to create a more efficient and better-connected market, where everyone benefits from shared data and insights.

“Landmark Information Group has the largest property data set in the UK, spanning the entire property value chain, and so we believe we are best-positioned to deliver the scale of ambition needed to make the home-moving process as efficient as it can be.”
