Clever Lending, a specialist finance packager and master broker, has made two key appointments, promoting Nicola Ferguson to commercial and bridge specialist and welcoming Chloe Ison as the new case manager.
Nicola Ferguson, who joined Clever Lending as a case manager three years ago, has now been promoted to the role of commercial and bridge specialist.
Her promotion comes as recognition of her extensive industry knowledge and recent success in passing her CeMAP exams.
With previous experience as a case officer, technical support officer in the IVA sector, and pensions administrator for an independent pension company, Nicola is set to bring significant expertise to her new role.
She will be responsible for placing commercial and bridging enquiries, including regulated business, working alongside Clever Lending’s introducing brokers to ensure customer success.
Joining the company as the new case manager, Chloe Ison brings 13 years of experience from an insurance company where she held various roles, from an office junior to office manager.
At Clever Lending, Ison will manage cases from DIP to completion, supporting Matthew Dilks, one of the firm’s commercial and bridging specialists.
Her role will involve obtaining all relevant documentation from customers or introducers and fully packaging the case to the lender, which includes arranging a property valuation if necessary.
She will liaise with all parties to obtain an offer and work with the solicitor until successful completion.
Kevin Blount, director of technical operations at Clever Lending, remarked on the new appointments: “Customer service is paramount at Clever Lending and brokers who use us testify about our high-quality personal service, advice and case management. 2023 has been a very busy year so far for Clever Lending and these appointments will further bolster our service function as we continue to deal with more and more cases.
“Nicola and Chloe have already hit the ground running in their new roles and will ensure that applications are successful, cases are managed efficiently and funds are released within the required timescales.”
