Bicester-based firm, Pam Brown Mortgages, has joined Mortgage Advice Bureau, the mortgage intermediary brand and specialist network.
Managing partner, Pam Brown, has been in the financial services industry for over two decades, having originally founded Pam Brown Mortgages back in 2000.
Over the years, the business has grown significantly, and now operates from a prime location in Bicester’s Market Square.
The firm’s success can be attributed to Brown’s dedication and hard work, borne from her 21 years’ experience as a broker.
Her daughter, Nina, and son, Joe, are also a core part of the business as brokers themselves, with Nina specialising in protection and Joe looking after the wealth arm of the firm.
They are joined by assistant, Vicky Rock, and Martin Fouracre, who will support Joe in his area of the business.
However, to support future growth and ambitious expansion plans, Brown felt that becoming part of the Mortgage Advice Bureau network would provide the business with access to a better product range, new technology and IT systems, and an enhanced proposition for its customers.
Following her son’s diagnosis with Crohn’s disease at the age of 13, Pam Brown Mortgages has always been run with a family-oriented mindset.
The firm actively campaigns for Crohn’s & Colitis UK, having raised more than £40,000 for the charity over the past five years – including £11k during the Three Peaks Challenge in April.
Brown said: “Becoming a part of Mortgage Advice Bureau provides us with a fantastic opportunity in terms of brand awareness, and also enables us to offer our clients a ‘one stop shop’ for their mortgage and protection needs.
“Together with the skill and care of our advisers and Mortgage Advice Bureau’s technology platform, we can now access and source new mortgages and protection policies. We’re in an exceptionally strong position to take our business to the next level.”
Mortgage Advice Bureau offers expert advice throughout the UK from a network of more than 2,000 mortgage advisers and has a strong high street presence in many towns and cities across the country.
Brown concluded: “We’re looking forward to taking advantage of the wealth of opportunities that becoming part of Mortgage Advice Bureau represents.
“Their hands-on approach will allow us to grab hold of every new opportunity presented to us, and nothing beats the feeling you get from working within a large team and being part of a bigger picture.
“We’re eager to continue our growth and development as a mortgage business, and I strongly believe that joining the Mortgage Advice Bureau network will be key in helping us to achieve our goals.”
