Smoove plc has formed a strategic partnership with Mortgage Advice Bureau (Holdings) plc (MAB). The collaboration will facilitate the provision of conveyancing comparison and other home-buying support services.
The agreement will offer MAB’s over 2,000 advisers access to Smoove’s conveyancing comparison services through Smoove’s web platform and Connect APIs.
The partnership will see MAB integrating Smoove’s solutions into its MIDAS platform, thus ensuring seamless access to conveyancing comparison services for MAB’s advisers.
A rapid onboarding process onto DigitalMove, Smoove’s platform, will also be included for MAB customers, enabling direct interaction with their chosen professional specialists.
Jesper With-Fogstrup (pictured), CEO of Smoove, said: “I am delighted to partner with Mortgage Advice Bureau, known in the industry and by customers for their forward-thinking and professional service, helping thousands of customers move home every week.
“The MAB team’s passion for improving the end-to-end home moving experience is clear and connecting our systems, including DigitalMove, will provide that.
“MAB brokers will have access to our panel of more than 70 audited and benchmarked conveyancing firms. Our mission is to make the home moving process better for everyone, and this partnership is an important step on that journey.”
In response, Peter Brodnicki, Mortgage Advice Bureau Chief Executive Officer, said: “Last year, our appointed representatives and their advisers helped more than 150,000 customers find the right mortgage.
“Through the addition of Smoove’s solutions, we are providing advisers with an extensive choice of conveyancing firms through a seamless technology process.
“The onboarding portal, DigitalMove, will help advisers to properly stay in control of the conveyancing process and ultimately put their customers into a stronger position, enabling them to move home efficiently and spend less time on the conveyancing process itself.
“We believe this greater choice and the underlying technology will promote even better outcomes for consumers.”
