The Right Mortgage & Protection Network and DA Club have confirmed the appointment of Bipin Sandhu (pictured) as its new private medical insurance (PMI) supervision & development manager. She will report directly to Amy Wilson, head of general insurance (GI and PMI).
In her new role, Sandhu will be responsible for assisting member firms in exploring the PMI sector, assessing the growing client demand, and identifying advice and income-generating opportunities. She will also supervise advisers’ activity in this product area.
Sandhu joins The Right Mortgage following a four-year stint at Simplybiz Compliance Services, where she recruited IFAs, mortgage and protection, and protection-only firms to go directly authorised. Previously, she worked at Vitality for a decade in a business development role, providing advisory firms with training on life insurance, PMI and investment products.
Sandhu’s appointment is part of The Right Mortgage’s strategy to grow its PMI specialist team. The objective is to support advisers who are new to this product area and help them identify PMI client opportunities.
The Right Mortgage & Protection Network and DA Club will also be holding a PMI Summit this week. The event will cater to specialist PMI advisers and those looking to advise in PMI.
The Summit will take place on Wednesday 5th July at the Nuthurst Grange Country House Hotel in Solihull. Attendees will hear from PMI sector experts through keynote presentations, roundtable discussions and panel Q&As.
