Coventry Building Society has been officially recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women for the second consecutive year by the Great Place to Work Institute.
The society ranked 15th out of 55 Super Large organisations in the list revealed today, upholding its commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all its employees.
The ranking is primarily based on the feedback received from the annual employee survey where women anonymously reported about their workplace experience and representation. Great Place to Work Institute also analysed Coventry Building Society’s initiatives aimed at empowering women within the workplace culture. These efforts were evaluated in conjunction with the survey results to assess the disparity between the company’s claims and the actual culture experienced by the employees.
Earlier this year, Coventry Building Society was named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces by the Great Place to Work Institute, ranking 13th out of 57 Super Large organisations. This recent recognition reiterates the company’s dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Lucy Becque, chief people officer at Coventry Building Society, said: “This is fabulous recognition for the Society – not just for the women who work here, but for everyone. It demonstrates our commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment that empowers women throughout our organisation.”
She also highlighted the Society’s recent B Corp certification, adding: “It’s another huge accolade that demonstrates we’re a people-first organisation. It’s essential to us that everyone – whether that’s colleagues, members, or people in the wider community – feels welcome and included.”
