Starting 19th September, financial mutual OneFamily will underwrite all new term life and critical illness policies for Beagle Street, Budget, and Virgin Money.
This change follows OneFamily’s acquisition of Beagle Street last year and marks a strategic shift in business operations.
Previously, Beagle Street acted as a distributor for another insurer. The new arrangement will consolidate distribution and insurance activities under OneFamily, aiming for greater efficiency and agility in their business model.
Alistair Rose, managing director of Beagle Street, said: “This is the first step in an exciting growth strategy for both Beagle Street and OneFamily’s life and critical illness businesses that will focus on product development and the expansion of our distribution channels.”
He added that the change, along with technology upgrades, will help Beagle Street grow its market share and reach more customers.
