Swansea Building Society’s Cowbridge branch has reached over £200m in mortgage balances since its opening in December 2017.
This marks a significant increase from the £104m reported in May 2021.
Richard Miles, east Wales area manager and head of savings, said: “We are delighted to have reached this milestone within six years of the Cowbridge branch being established.
“This achievement is a testament to a great team effort and the wider support of Swansea Building Society.”
Alun Williams, chief executive, added: “This mortgage balance milestone is an incredible achievement for our Cowbridge branch, in just six years in business.
“It reflects the culmination of our initial five-year plan, emphasising investments in infrastructure, staff, and technology.”
