Specialist lender Market Financial Solutions (MFS) promoted 49 team members in 2023, including several rising to senior management.
MFS also bolstered its legal and compliance department; in September 2023, Ryan Magee was brought in as general counsel, and since then, a money laundering reporting officer (MLRO), paralegal and legal secretary were added.
The team grew to more than 100 in size in 2023, as well as promoting members of the business development, relationship management, underwriting and marketing teams, among others.
Karen Rodrigues joined MFS as head of national accounts in July 2023 and ended the year with a promotion to head of sales; Imogen Williams and Thomas Gill both became key accounts managers; Sumit Sapra, Shaun Bains and Jemima Hayes all went from senior underwriters to underwriting team leaders.
Sharon Hewes was made group financial controller and individual investor relations; Leah Brunskill was named head of marketing; Armando Godina Carrasco was promoted to head of financial analysis and treasury; and Karen Johnson became head of recoveries and collections.
MFS currently has several vacancies, spanning its BDM, underwriting, and relationship management teams.
