Gifford Clay has been appointed as the head of intermediary sales at National Friendly.
Clay, who joined the Society in August 2023 as a strategic partnership manager, brings over two decades of experience in the protection industry. His prior roles include senior positions at Canada Life, Holloway Friendly, and Synaptic Software.
In this new capacity, Clay will focus on managing the sales and distribution objectives, and fortifying the Society’s relationships with its intermediary partners.
His appointment is seen as a strategic move to drive the company’s growth and enhance the services offered to partners and customers.
