Fiducia Commercial Network, a commercial finance ‘Appointed Representative’ (AR) network, has announced an introducer partnership with business finance lender Playter, marking Playter’s first foray into the aggregator sector.
This move aims to expand the range of financial solutions available to UK commercial finance brokers, particularly those dealing with bridging, development, and buy-to-let financing.
Playter is recognised for its innovative lending solutions tailored to SMEs, specializing in funding invoices, VAT/Corporation tax, and offering finance solutions for customers on issued invoices.
Jamie Beaumont, founder of Playter, commented on the partnership, stating: “We’re thrilled to embark on this partnership journey with Fiducia. Breaking into the aggregator market has been a key milestone for us, and partnering with a reputable company like Fiducia is a natural first step.”
Mark Grant, managing director of Fiducia Commercial Network, highlighted the critical nature of cashflow management for UK businesses in 2024 and the potential of Playter’s technology-driven solutions to meet these challenges. He noted: “We are thrilled to be the first commercial finance AR network partnering with this esteemed NACFB Patron lender, providing our brokerages with immediate access to enhanced business finance solutions.”
The partnership allows Fiducia’s network of brokers to access Playter’s financing solutions seamlessly, offering a broader range of products to their clients. In 2024, Playter aims to fund over £100m into the SME sector, indicating the significant impact this collaboration could have on the industry.
Marcus Grimshaw, CEO of Fiducia Group, added: “Fiducia has always been at the forefront of innovation in the Commercial Finance sector. We are proud to align with Playter, a company dedicated to positive disruption within the industry. Together, we will play a pivotal role in funding UK businesses, delivering unique and much-needed solutions to the broker and SME community.”
