Tandem boosts leadership with strategic digital and marketing hires

Tandem has announced the appointments of Maria Khan as director of product and digital, and Chris Parker as head of marketing, to enhance its digital banking offerings and brand visibility.

Khan, with her extensive background in financial services at J.P Morgan and the Royal Bank of Scotland, is poised to lead the development of Tandem’s green digital banking solutions.

Parker joins from Santander, where his marketing strategies, including the ‘Bank of Ant and Dec’ campaign, earned him two Effie Awards in 2023.

Reflecting on her role, Khan said: “It’s clear Tandem is on an exciting journey and I’m glad to be joining at such a critical time. There’s a huge opportunity for the bank and it’s a privilege to get going and help more and more consumers make the transition to greener choices.”

Alex Mollart, CEO, highlighted the importance of these appointments, stating: “Maria’s expertise in developing digital products will be essential as we continue to update and grow our offering – market-leading green initiatives that utilise our leading tech capabilities – to allow customers more choice in living a greener lifestyle.”
