Pepper Money rolls out fourth season of ‘The Specialist’ podcast

Pepper Money has introduced the fourth season of its podcast, ‘The Specialist’, aimed at mortgage intermediaries.

Hosted by Rob Barnard, intermediary relationship director at Pepper Money, the new season will delve into personal motivation and mental health, with a lineup of special guests sharing their industry experiences.

The opening episode features Emma Jones, founder of Alder Rose Mortgage Services and When The Bank Says No, discussing the growth of her firm.

Upcoming episodes include insights from Jason Berry of Crystal Specialist Finance on the Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter, Matt Tristram of Loans Warehouse on second charge lending, recruitment expert Pete Gwilliam on career advancement in mortgages, and Bharat Sagar of AE3 Media on the Diversity & Inclusivity Finance Forum.

Rob Barnard expressed his enthusiasm for the latest season: “The Specialist podcast is now into its fourth season and continues to go from strength to strength.

“Episodes are short and punchy, informal but very informative – and in this season we have a real focus on personal motivation and mental health. Arguably, this has never been more important.

“According to findings from the MIMHC, only 7% of brokers regularly get a minimum of seven hours of sleep, 46% work more than 45 hours per week, and 15% work more than 60 hours per week.”

“It’s always been my mission to keep the podcast relevant and helpful, talking about real topics that are pertinent to brokers, and season four of The Specialist is no exception.”

The podcast is available for streaming on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
