Go.Compare survey reveals quarter of Brits want to move home

A new survey from Go.Compare home insurance has found that up to 26% of respondents were thinking about selling their homes and moving somewhere new.

The main reason people wanted to move is for more outdoor or indoor space, each at 23%.

Another 18% were looking for better parking, while 18% wanted to live closer to the countryside.

Some people just want a change (16%), and 15% hoped to find homes in better school catchment areas.

London topped the list of places where people wanted to move the most, with 34% of residents unhappy with their current homes.

In the West Midlands, 30% were ready for a change, and 25% in the East Midlands felt the same way.
