Twenty7tec has recorded its 100 millionth mortgage search in the same month it celebrates its 10th anniversary.
The Twenty7tec platform has now handled around four mortgage searches for every household in the UK, around 24.8 million households as of this year.
This equates to around 16 mortgage searches per household with a mortgage, around 6.7m households as estimated in 2024.
James Tucker, founder and CEO of Twenty7tec, said: “We now handle twice as many mortgage searches in a month as we did in the whole of 2015, our first full calendar year in business.
“And the last five years have been key to that success as swelling adviser numbers using the platform on a daily basis mean that the second half of our decade in business is responsible for 81% of all mortgage searches on the platform.
“In fact, 2024 looks set to be our busiest year ever.
“Based on our projections, we are likely to be up around 15% year on year by the end of 2024, another stellar performance.”
