When The Bank Says No expands team

UK-wide mortgage broker When The Bank Says No has expanded its team with two new recruits.

Laura Tonge joined as a specialist case manager, bringing four years of experience as a direct underwriter and case manager from her previous role at Mojo Mortgages.

Tonge began her career in child care management before transitioning into finance.

Lucy Parker has come on board as a mortgage adviser, with five years of experience in residential lending.

Parker started as a case manager after graduating in creative writing from Sheffield Hallam and later became a mortgage adviser.

Parker said: “I’m really excited about joining WTBSN, as helping borrowers negotiate the lending world is my passion.

“I’m enjoying the diversity of enquiries I receive here as well as working with the vast numbers of lenders available to us to find the best solution.”

Tonge said: “I was blown away by Emma’s infectious enthusiasm and the exceptional brand they’re building at When The Bank Says No.

“Having a role model like Emma to drive me to success was another key reason for joining.”

Emma Jones (pictured), managing director of When The Bank Says No, said: “We are delighted to make two new female appointments in our ongoing mission to recruit more women into When The Bank Says No as part of our wider diversity strategy.

“Lucy and Laura both bring huge amounts of enthusiasm with them, and I look forward to supporting them in their mortgage journey.”
