Suffolk Building Society has expanded its telephone business development management (BDM) support to four additional regions, effective immediately.
Brokers in the North and North East will now be managed by Carly Scholes, who previously focused on brokers in the North West.
Scholes has been with the society since 2018 and has experience in the property industry dating back to 2010, including a role as a broker assistant for a financial adviser.
Brokers in Greater London and the South East will receive telephone support from Beth Hillman, who has managed Central London to date.
Hillman brings seven years of experience in the mortgage industry, including four years as a mortgage broker.
The new postcode areas covered by Scholes include: NE, DH, SR, TS, DL, HG, YO, HU, DN, LN, NG, DE, S, WF, LS.
Hillman will now cover UB, TW, KT, CT, TN, BN, RH, SL, RG, GU, SO, PO.
Charlotte Grimshaw, head of intermediary relations and mortgage sales at Suffolk Building Society, said: “Supporting mortgage brokers is our priority – it’s what we’re here for.
“By providing a dedicated BDM to brokers in new areas we’ll be able to assist with shaping cases and, in turn, offer solutions to their clients that they may not have been aware of before.
“With so many new criteria updates this year, and more round the corner, it’s the perfect time to broaden our coverage.”
She added: “Our BDMs provide an invaluable service.
“They are experts at shaping cases and supporting with pre-Decision in Principle (DIP) approvals.
“We pride ourselves on giving brokers direct access to our underwriters. Alongside this, our BDMs are tenacious at advancing even the most complex application!”
