StreamBank expands sales team with new senior BDM for London and the South East

StreamBank has announced the appointment of Lee Warne as senior business development manager for London and the South East, as the lender continues to grow its presence in the specialist property finance market. Warne, who officially started on 4 March 2025, brings extensive experience in financial services, having previously held senior roles at Octane Capital, Shawbrook Bank, Vantage Insurance Services, and XYC.

With a background in sales, account management, underwriting, lending, and business development, Warne will be responsible for strengthening relationships with brokers across the region. His role will focus on providing tailored support, promoting StreamBank’s lending solutions, and keeping intermediaries informed of market developments to help deliver the best outcomes for clients.

His appointment follows the addition of Aiman Makland as business development manager for London and the South in January, coinciding with the launch of StreamBank’s StreamLine Bridging Product, which aims to provide faster approval for larger residential bridging loans.

Warne joins the company at a time of significant growth, with StreamBank celebrating its second year of operations in February and achieving full-year profitability.

Lee Warne, business development manager at StreamBank, said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team at StreamBank at such a pivotal moment in its growth. With over 13 years of experience in the property finance sector, working alongside some of the most renowned lenders in the industry, I have gained a broad and diverse skill set that I believe will make a significant contribution to our continued success. This exciting opportunity aligns perfectly with my passion for driving results and innovation within the sector. I’m eager to collaborate with this talented team to help achieve our ambitious goals and further establish StreamBank as a leader in the market.”

Roz Cawood, managing director – property finance at StreamBank, added: “We couldn’t be happier to welcome Lee to StreamBank. His expertise will be vital in maintaining our high service standards and strengthening the support we provide to our network of brokers and clients in London and the South East. Lee joins us at a pivotal stage of growth, and the entire team and I look forward to working with him to drive StreamBank forward.”
