Twenty7tec has launched a new webinar series to discuss key issues affecting the finance and property sectors.
The series, entitled ‘Elevate’, will be hosted by David Wressell, national account manager at Twenty7tec, and kicks off on 17th April.
The first session, titled ‘Less regulation, more opportunity?’ will explore the Government’s proposals to reduce industry regulations.
Special guests include Kate Davies, executive director of the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders’ Association; Jennifer Lloyd, head of mortgage products and propositions at Skipton Building Society; and Chris Croft, a senior consultant at Bellevue Law.
The discussion will focus on the potential benefits of relaxing regulations, such as boosting business growth and investment, while addressing concerns about consumer protection and industry stability.
The experts will debate the balance between regulation for consumer protection, financial stability, and promoting competition, and whether reducing regulations could create more opportunities for borrowers and brokers.
They will also consider which safeguards should remain and how advisers can prepare for changes.
Elaine Howard, director of marketing at Twenty7tec, said: “Our webinar series comes at a crucial time for the industry, with the government tasking regulators with cutting red tape and introducing reforms to drive business growth.
“Through our longstanding data-processing expertise, we’re in a position to offer unique insights into this conversation.
“Plus, with Kate, Jennifer, and Chris bringing their wealth of experience, this is sure to be an informative, engaging, and insightful debate.”
