Rosemount Financial Solutions hosts peer group event in Kent

Rosemount Financial Solutions (IFA) held its first peer group event of 2025 in Kent on 13th March.

The event provided mortgage, protection, and financial planning advice to network members from across the county and nearby areas.

The attendees participated in sessions led by experts both from Rosemount and partner providers.

Hayleigh Kelly, deputy money laundering reporting officer at Rosemount, discussed compliance updates and trends.

Tim Sorrell from Perenna explained the benefits of long-term mortgages.

Gifford Clay from National Friendly introduced their Friendly Shield product, while Andrew Douglas from Together covered the buy-to-let and specialist lending landscapes.

Simon Moss of Scottish Widows emphasised the importance of including protection in advisory services, and Tim Gunning from Atom bank highlighted the role of technology in streamlining application processes.

The event offered advisers a chance to exchange experiences and insights with colleagues, enhancing their service standards for clients.

Additional peer group sessions are planned for Bristol and London later in the quarter.

Ahmed Bawa, CEO of Rosemount Financial Solutions (IFA) Ltd, said: “We have had brilliant feedback from the advisers who attended the Kent peer group, who left the session armed with a greater insight into how these providers can support their clients.

“The peer groups are a fantastic example of how networks can provide real value to members, combining informative presentations with the opportunity to learn from colleagues within the network.

“We will be holding further regional peer group sessions in the months to come, and look forward to seeing our advisers there.”
