Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS) has launched QualityShield, an automated risk management platform built on robotic process automation (RPA), aimed at enhancing operational precision, efficiency and real-time decision-making across its property surveying operations.
The new system reduces the need for manual intervention in risk workflows, enabling CSS professionals to concentrate on strategic oversight and continuous improvement. It forms part of CSS’s broader strategy to combine advanced technology with human expertise, reinforcing its position as a leading provider of property risk management, valuations and customer surveys in the UK.
As part of the initiative, CSS has also appointed a new team of field-based Quality Managers—experienced and qualified surveyors—tasked with maintaining high standards and supporting the implementation of enhanced risk assessment practices.
Matthew Cumber, managing director at Countrywide Surveying Services, said: “QualityShield streamlines processes, allowing our quality management team to focus on complex, high-value tasks. By combining the expertise of our people with advanced automation, we are able to reinforce our commitment to providing lenders with real-time insights, enhanced risk management, and seamless top quality service delivery.
“This initiative enables us to manage risk proactively and with carefully controlled precision, giving our lending partners even more confidence in our decision making as we constantly adapt to ever-evolving market conditions.”
