Rockwell has reached the topping out stage at Hurlingham Waterfront, marking a key moment in its 3.2-acre riverside scheme in SW6.
The milestone was marked at a traditional ceremony attended by Rockwell staff, project partners and local stakeholders including palace and hurlingham ward councillor, Amanda Lloyd-Harris.
The development will deliver 269 apartments, each with private outdoor spaces, and more than 39,000 square feet of green space.
The site, formerly a Curry’s superstore, is being redeveloped to improve 150 metres of waterfront.
Residents will have access to a 19-metre swimming pool, gym, spa, cinema room, co-working space, 24-hour concierge and pet grooming.
There are more than 90 apartment types on offer and the location is close to shops, restaurants, bars, galleries and parks.
Construction and completion will provide several hundred jobs and 45 affordable homes for the area.
David Gaffney, construction managing director at Rockwell, said: “We are incredibly proud to reach this special milestone for both Hurlingham Waterfront and Rockwell.
“Topping out is a major achievement for this luxury waterfront development which is transforming the local area and offering over 260 new homes at a time when they are so desperately required.
“Thanks to its exceptional apartments and amenities, Hurlingham Waterfront will stand as one of the Capital’s finest regeneration projects in recent years.”
Gaffney added: “As we move forward to the final stage of construction, we are proud to deliver a world-class collection of homes in one of London’s most sought-after postcodes.”
