Paul Finch appointed as managing director of Liberty Rock Property

Liberty Rock has appointed Paul Finch (pictured) as managing director of Liberty Rock Property, the company’s property advisory and buying agency.

Liberty Rock Property specialises in off-market transactions, development consultancy and strategic acquisitions across Prime Central London and key international markets.

Finch was previously at multi-national estate agency Beauchamp Estates which he joined in 2006 as a senior sales negotiator.

Here, he was appointed from 2019 onwards as director and head of new homes.

With a career spanning nearly four decades, Finch has been a central player in some of the most high-profile ultra-prime transactions in London and other overseas wealth hubs.

He has advised ultra-high-net-worth clients from around the world in their sale and acquisition of real estate and overseen discreet off-market trophy home deals.

Finch has advised a range of developers and real estate investors at CEO level including Reuben Brothers, Caudwell, REDD Real Estate, Berkeley Homes, Amazon Property Group, Aerium and Oakmayne Properties.

In his new role, Finch will be working closely alongside Scott-havard Williams, CEO and group director of Liberty Rock, and his senior team of directors.

Finch said: “I am delighted to be joining Liberty Rock and heading up the property division at a highly momentous period of change to business models and funding within the property industry.

“The ultra-prime property sector is seeing the long-term decline in traditional high-street estate agency, replaced by dynamic wealth advisory firms like Liberty Rock and digitally driven boutique agents.

“Alongside this the development finance sector is undergoing a significant shift with high street banks being replaced by private family offices and individuals as the key source of real estate funding for both single and multi-unit projects.

“I have huge admiration for Scott-havard Williams and his colleagues and Liberty Rock is expanding quickly and is ideally positioned to take advantage of these changes.

“Clients demand far more personal representation in a market that requires agility, off-market access and an ability to advise on the creative structuring of finance and special purpose vehicles.”

Scott-havard Williams, CEO and group director at Liberty Rock, added: “Liberty Rock is delighted to welcome property industry dynamo Paul Finch to our senior team of directors.

“We have been expanding rapidly and see significant growth opportunities with Paul at the helm of our real estate division.

“For family offices and private ultra-high-net-worth individuals global real estate investment and portfolio management for their personal homes is a key part of their wealth management requirements.

“Our growing real estate department will really benefit from the deep knowledge, access to exclusive trophy real estate opportunities and network of contacts that Paul will bring to the business.”
