The Monmouthshire has appointed former PwC senior partner Colin Brereton as a non-executive director.
Brereton officially joined the Board on 24th March 2022 as a member of the Audit Committee and brings over 38 years of leadership and advisory experience in professional services, including an impressive career with PwC until 2018 and several non-executives roles in the world of financial services.
Brereton also uses his professional skills and knowledge to support several charities and not for profit organisations.
He is a trustee and Audit committee Chairman at the Royal National Children’s SpringBoard Foundation, Deputy Chairman at Floreat Education and a trustee for Farm Africa.
He said: “I’m really excited to take up my position with Monmouthshire Building Society as a non-executive director and member of the Board’s Audit Committee.
“The Society has been delivering its financial services for over 150 years and, with an ambitious strategy that launched in 2021, it is fast evolving into a modern mutual fit for the future.
“The strategy is innovative and exciting and I’m particularly impressed by the Society’s commitment to the community, from social engagement and support to Community Banking.”
