Market Harborough Building Society has announced that industry leader, Alison Pallett (pictured), has joined its lending advisory panel, which was launched earlier this year.
The Lending Advisory Panel will play a key role in supporting Market Harborough’s continued growth in specialist lending, helping to shape innovative propositions, distribution strategies, and process improvements.
The Lending Advisory Panel meets regularly to review and advise on initiatives that align with Market Harborough’s vision of becoming a leader in specialist lending, and that firmly support its commitment to doing the right thing for brokers.
Pallett’s extensive career includes senior leadership roles at Nottingham Building Society, LiveMore Capital, and Bank of Ireland, with a strong focus on intermediary sales, broker partnerships, and specialist lending growth.
In 2024, Alison was recognised with the Bharat Sagar Lifetime Achievement Award at the British Mortgage Awards, highlighting her outstanding contribution to the mortgage industry.
Iain Kirkpatrick, CEO of Market Harborough Building Society, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Alison to our lending advisory panel.
“Her wealth of experience and expertise will be instrumental as we continue to innovate and expand our lending business.
“Alison’s input will help ensure we remain at the forefront of the specialist lending market, providing the best possible outcomes for our broker partners and clients.”
Alison added: “Joining Market Harborough’s lending advisory panel is an exciting opportunity.
“I look forward to working alongside society colleagues and fellow panel members to help develop lending propositions and tools that meet the evolving needs of brokers and borrowers in a complex market.”
