SortRefer sees record growth in instructions and completions in July

Conveyancing and legal services firm SortRefer reported its strongest month on record in July 2025, with growth seen across all core areas.

The company reported that total instructions rose by 5% and total completions increased by 6% compared with previous highs.

Scotland was a key area, with the highest number of transactional instructions recorded to date.

Survey services also saw a rise in demand, as survey instructions grew by 15% and completions were up 17%.

Remortgage and purchase transactions both reached their highest instruction levels so far, while independent legal advice instructions were up 67% on the previous best.

The firm also saw the largest number of new registrations in a single month, as more mortgage professionals joined the platform.

Additionally, SortRefer’s reward and engagement programme, Sort Club, handed out a record number of prizes to introducers in July.

Kevin Tunnicliffe (pictured), CEO of Sort Group, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled with July’s performance.

“Breaking this many records in a single month is a testament to the dedication of our incredible team and the loyalty of our broker partners.

“These results reflect not just strong market demand, but also the success of our strategic focus on technology, customer service, and broker engagement.”

Tunnicliffe added: “We’re proud to be delivering the solutions intermediaries need in an ever-evolving marketplace.”
