conveybuddy celebrates one-year anniversary

Conveyancing distributor, conveybuddy, is set to celebrate its one-year anniversary, following a year of ongoing growth in broker registrations and users, an expanding panel of law firms, and funds raised for its three charity partners.

Launched in September 2024, conveybuddy provides a tech-enabled panel management service.

Since launch, the business has grown to over 2,500 registered broker users, with July and August representing record months for registrations.

On the supply side, conveybuddy welcomed three new law firms to the platform over past few months, bringing the number up to 14 and further enhancing choice for brokers and their clients across a wide range of property transaction types.

The business was established to tackle some of the biggest challenges facing brokers when recommending conveyancers with the solution built around all-inclusive quotes, transparent fees, and clear service-level commitments, ensuring advisers can recommend with confidence and clients are not caught out by hidden extras.

conveybuddy also runs an ongoing charity initiative, donating up to £5 for each completed case.

Broker users can choose one of three charities to benefit from this: The MND Association, Rainbows Hospice and Food Bank Aid.

Over the course of its first year, conveybuddy has contributed £5,015 across the three charities.

Harpal Singh (pictured), founder and chief executive of conveybuddy, said: “We set out to build a proposition that would simplify conveyancing for brokers and their clients by ensuring transparency, fair pricing and consistency at every stage.

“To see so many brokers engage with us and our law firm partners in our first year is hugely encouraging, and it underlines the demand for a fresh approach in this part of the market, particularly our commitment to ‘no hidden fees’. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made so far, but this is only the beginning.

“Looking ahead, we plan to expand our broker education and work more closely with our law firms, further enhance our technology, and continue developing solutions that match brokers’ demands. We’re also committed to extending our charitable efforts, through a variety of initiatives.

“It has been a hugely successful first year but we’re just at the start of the journey with conveybuddy, as we look to develop a greater array of options for brokers and their clients.”
