Armalytix launches new ID verification service for professional firms

Armalytix has launched its new Identity Service, a tool designed to simplify complex ID verification requirements for professional services firms.

The service allows lawyers, accountants and financial advisers to carry out secure, global electronic ID checks as part of Know Your Customer and Anti-Money Laundering workflows within the Armalytix platform.

The system supports digital ID verification, NFC checks, facial recognition, liveness detection, proof of address, sanctions screening, mortality register checks, ongoing monitoring and audit trails.

It also delivers Safe Harbour-compliant ID and KYC for conveyancers, providing a higher level of assurance for the legal sector.

Firms can configure workflows to gather identity information, financial data, or both, helping streamline onboarding and compliance processes.

Richard McCall, chief executive of Armalytix, said: “Understanding your customer is no longer a tick-box exercise, it’s the foundation of trust and compliance.

“With our new ID service, we’re giving firms the power to verify identities quickly, accurately, and all in one place.

“It’s another step in our mission to remove friction from the process of collecting financial and client data, helping professionals save time, meet their obligations, and deliver a better experience to their clients.”

The service can be accessed via the Armalytix platform or integrated into existing systems through APIs.

By combining ID verification with financial data, the company said firms will have greater confidence in preventing fraud and meeting regulatory responsibilities.
