Broadstone has appointed Cormac Bradley (pictured) as senior actuarial director to boost its non-life insurance team.

Bradley joins the insurance, regulatory and risk division and brings nearly 30 years’ experience from senior actuarial roles at Direct Line Insurance Group, now part of Aviva, and Willis Towers Watson.

In his new role, he will focus on supporting clients with risk and capital management, reserving, and chief actuary support across insurers, reinsurers, captives, managing general agents (MGAs) and London Market firms.

Bradley said: “Broadstone has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality, specialist actuarial advice within the non-life sector.

“I’m thrilled to be part of a team that’s trusted by a wide range of insurers and regulators for its deep technical expertise and insights.

“Broadstone is well placed to support businesses through both strategic projects and day-to-day challenges and I’m looking forward to making an impactful contribution to this work and our growing team.”

Darren Richards, head of insurance, regulatory and risk at Broadstone, said: “We are delighted to welcome Cormac to Broadstone and our growing Insurance, Regulatory & Risk division.

“Cormac’s exceptional experience in personal and commercial lines will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our non-life practice and expand our capabilities.

“His expertise aligns perfectly with our strategic growth ambitions in the non-life sector as we continue to expand our propositions in the rapidly evolving general insurance market.”
