Galliford Try Building London and South East Commercial’s Dolphin Square project picked up both the Build-to-Rent (BTR) Project of the Year and Residential Project of the Year awards at the Global Real Estate Institute (GRI) Awards.
The awards celebrate organisations working in European real estate and recognise projects for architecture, quality of life and collaboration.
Dolphin Square is a residential development with over 1,500 residents, divided into 13 ten-storey blocks called ‘Houses’, each named after a well-known navigator or admiral.
In partnership with AXA IM Alts and the Dolphin Square management team, the phased restoration aims to modernise the 793,990 square foot 1930s estate and deliver over 1,200 private rental apartments.
The scheme will also improve amenity and shared spaces.
Matthew Pool, managing director for Galliford Try Building London and South East Commercial, said: “Congratulations to our team and to our continued partnership with AXA IM Alts for being recognised in not one, but two categories at this year’s awards.
“This recognition is a testament to our team’s commitment to delivering high-quality buildings that positively impact the community, while honouring and preserving the rich history of the site.”
