Intelligent Home Information (IHI) has launched a new online platform giving homebuyers in England and Wales free instant risk screening reports to help spot hidden risks before making an offer.
The reports flag issues like flooding, ground instability and nearby infrastructure projects, using the same regulated data solicitors use.
Homebuyers can use the information to decide whether to proceed or walk away.
If risks are flagged, buyers can purchase in-depth reports to share with their solicitor.
The offer covers the first one million reports at no cost.
