Sancus Lending UK has expanded its Manchester team and moved to a new 1,800 square foot office at 26 Cross Street, less than a year after first opening in the city.
The company signed a five-year lease at the city centre location, supported by OBI, property consultants, and Hill Dickinson, legal team.
Since late 2024, Sancus Lending UK reported strong growth in Manchester across ground-up residential development, bridging, and a new commercial bridging proposition.
The business has added Reece Gaulton, relationship executive at Sancus Lending UK, who has joined Alex Garland, commercial director at Sancus, and Andrew Charnley, managing director at Sancus.
A social housing division has also launched, with Alex Bodie, director at Sancus Lending UK, appointed to lead efforts across England.
Bodie has over 25 years’ financial services experience and previously led a housing lending division.
Charnley said: “This move reflects our strong commitment to Manchester.
“The city has exceeded our expectations – in terms of the market, the talent and the opportunities.
“Our new 1,800 sq ft office marks an important investment in our long-term growth here – and this is just the beginning.”
Garland said: “There’s real momentum behind what we’re doing.
“We’ve grown quickly, built a strong team and established deep roots in the market.
“Our new base at Cross Street puts us at the heart of it all.”
