Greencore Homes has officially launched ‘The Canopies’, a new 42-home development in Milton Heights, Oxfordshire.
The development features 42 homes, all designed to be better than net zero, surrounded by mature trees and natural landscapes.
The site offers a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom houses.
Prices for the scheme start at £260,000, with shared ownership and first home options to be released later in the year.
All homes are built to Passivhaus standard.
They use high levels of insulation, airtight construction and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery.
This is aimed at reducing energy bills and providing filtered air throughout the year.
The houses use natural building materials and are set in a landscape that supports a 10% biodiversity net gain, including wildflower meadows and green corridors.
The homes are fitted with solar PV panels and air source heat pumps to generate power and reduce reliance on the grid.
Each property has an energy performance certificate (EPC) A rating, triple glazed windows and doors, at least one parking space with EV charging, sheds and water butts.
Smart monitoring systems track energy use and air quality.
Jon Di-Stefano, CEO at Greencore Homes, said: “From the beginning, our mission has been to deliver homes and communities that don’t just meet Net Zero standards, but exceed them – creating spaces that genuinely improve life for people and the planet.
“At The Canopies, we’re combining high-quality, sustainable design with a community setting that’s enriched by nature.”
Rodger Shipway, head of sales and marketing at Greencore Homes, said: “The launch of The Canopies is an important milestone for us.
“Sustainability has guided every decision behind our development, and these homes prove that style, comfort and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.
“Buyers will not only benefit from innovative construction and energy-efficient homes, but they will also be part of a thriving community that’s making a positive contribution to the planet.”
